Dr. Rudderman can determine how much downtime you will need during a consultation. Recovery time will depend on how much liposuction is done and how many areas are treated. On average, patients return to desk jobs within 4-5 days.
How long do I have to wait to work out after surgery?
You will need to avoid sexual activity and all rigorous, strenuous activities until Dr. Rudderman tells you it is ok. Downtime will vary based upon the procedure/or combination of procedures you require.
Will I have any stitches, drains or garments after liposuction surgery?
Sutures will be very small and are typically removed in 1 week. You will need to wear a garment for generally 3 weeks. I can address all your questions and concerns during your complimentary consultation.
