A Unique Approach to Patient Care
Dr. Rudderman’s practice is highly regarded for both exceptional results and a meaningful surgeon-patient philosophy. To advise each patient, he works diligently to clearly understand their desires, assess their body frame and genetics, and comprehend their lifestyle. He understands the importance of balance in every individual’s life.
He carefully considers these factors along with relevant trends in fashion when individualizing a patient’s treatment plan. This approach to care also includes open lines of communication and a deep sense of responsibility to each patient.
“I believe that if a patient entrusts their surgery to us, then we are committed to them for the entire journey and in every way. We are here to answer any question at any time and to ensure they are informed, comfortable, and delighted with the results.”
The art of plastic surgery should incorporate a healthy attitude as well as a healthy body. Dr. Rudderman consults with patients to ensure general health before and following surgery.

Plastic Surgery and Fashion
Dr. Rudderman believes plastic surgeons must carefully consider several factors when designing a personalized cosmetic treatment plan, balancing the desires of the patient with their body frame, genetics, lifestyle, and the culture of fashion.
“Fashions in clothing and plastic surgery share the same basic purpose – to modify, conceal, and accentuate, in keeping with the trends of the time,” he says. “The plastic surgeon must seek a precise balance for each patient. On the one hand, procedures performed should be in concert with fashion-driven cultural norms, while remaining sensitive to how both those norms and the patient’s body will change over time. Changes to conform to fashion, however, should never conflict with the natural form in any way.”
Dr. Rudderman’s research and practice, together with the influence of his wife Jennifer, a fashion designer who is the founder and CEO of a highly successful line of fine jewelry, have led him to view the role of plastic surgery in a manner that allows him to connect with his patients in a unique way.
A Commitment to Environmental & Social Management
Dr. Rudderman believes that the environment in which you seek treatment and continue your care should not conflict with your desires for a healthy healing process and outcome. To this end, he orchestrated the construction and development of office space that became the first LEED Silver Certified facility of its kind in a commercial non-LEED building in the country. By following these guidelines and using construction methods that often exceeded the National standards, he was able to create an environment nearly free of ambient toxins, from the paint on the walls to the sealants and materials for the floors and ceilings. Patients can enjoy their evaluations and follow-up meetings in beautiful and peaceful surroundings that promote health and healing.
