The Rejuvapen® Micro Fractional Collagen Stimulation System is a non-surgical micro-needling system that stimulates the production of collagen in the skin. Rejuvapen® uses 9 micro-needles to create thousands of invisible, vertical perforations into the epidermis and top layer of the dermis. As a result, the skin naturally produces collagen and elastin to repair these perforations.
This medical-grade treatment not only improves the skin’s appearance, but can also treat hyper-pigmentation, stretch marks, acne scars, and fine lines and wrinkles. Rejuvapen® improves the overall health and circulation of the skin. These treatments can be performed on the face, neck, décolleté, abdomen, arms, and legs.
A numbing cream with lidocaine will be applied before treatment. There is little to no discomfort involved with Rejuvapen®. After the treatment, most patients only experience some slight redness/pinkness (similar to a mild sunburn) for 2-4 days. However, the reaction to treatment depends on the severity of the damaged skin, the depth of repair process required, and how aggressive the treatment is performed.
