JUVÉDERM® is made from a substance that occurs naturally in all human bodies – hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is highly attracted to water and has the ability to bind to it. JUVÉDERM® XC Procedure

Using a fine needle, Dr. Rudderman or his Aesthetic Specialist injects the smooth gels under the skin. JUVÉDERM Voluma®, JUVÉDERM® XC, and JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC also contain an anesthetic, called lidocaine, to help reduce discomfort during your treatment.

JUVÉDERM™ Ultra and Ultra Plus is a “next generation” hyaluronic acid – smooth gel dermal filler. It is different from others on the market because it is a “smooth gel” that flows consistently into the skin, causing wrinkles and folds to easily “smooth away” with the restored volume to the skin.
