What is JUVÉDERM Voluma® XC?

This injectable gel helps with loss of volume and saggy skin. Voluma is a hyaluronic acid filler which is made from long chains of sugars that occur naturally in the skin. JUVÉDERM Voluma is unique in that the hyaluronic acid is cross-linked through a process called VYCROSS® that helps provide an excellent lifting capacity. The special cross-linking makes Voluma last longer than some other injectables.

JUVÉDERM Voluma® XC Procedure

JUVÉDERM Voluma® XC is injected by Dr. Rudderman or his Aesthetic Specialist, under the skin using a fine needle. It can instantly add just enough volume to gently lift the cheek area. Look up to 5 years younger at 6 months after treatment.

JUVÉDERM® XC, Volbella®, and Voluma® all contain an anesthetic, called lidocaine, to help reduce discomfort during your treatment.

JUVÉDERM™ Ultra and Ultra Plus is a “next generation” hyaluronic acid – smooth gel dermal filler. It is different from others on the market because it is a “smooth gel” that flows consistently into the skin, causing wrinkles and folds to easily “smooth away” with the restored volume to the skin.
